Buckhead Church Care and Counseling

What Is Care and Counseling at Buckhead Church?

Through a range of mentoring and counseling services, Buckhead Church aims to help its congregation thrive in all aspects of their lives. These services include counseling referrals, mentoring, and financial freedom classes.

Why Should I Consider Care and Counseling?

In times of transition, loss, or change, life can be challenging to navigate on your own. Buckhead Church offers resources for a number of ongoing personal challenges and life transitions: preparing for marriage, recovering from a divorce, grieving a loss, having victory and joy amidst hard circumstances, reaching financial freedom.

Who Is Care and Counseling For?

Most groups are open to all regular attendees of Buckhead Church. Some are designed to meet the needs of a specific subset of the church: parents, career professionals, or engaged couples.

Where Are Groups Held?

Groups meet at the church, in homes (for example, premarital mentoring meets in the homes of the mentors), or at the practice of referred counselors.

When Are Groups Held?

The duration and frequency of the groups vary. MoneyWise Groups meet for 9 weeks, new mentoring pairs usually meet for 4-6 months, and premarital mentoring is held for 8 sessions. Check the Care and Counseling page for details on when upcoming groups will be held.

How Do I Get Started?

Visit the Care and Counseling page to learn details about registering or applying for upcoming groups, events, and mentoring and counseling opportunities. Some programs are limited to regular attendees, and they may require a fee. If you are interested in volunteering with a mentoring or counseling program, applications are available online.
