Geranium Festival
McDonough, Georgia is hosting their annual Geranium Festival. The festival began back in 1977 in a local park and has blossomed into taking over several blocks in the downtown area. The festival features local artisans, food vendors, and community businesses. This year the festival will include a chalk art competition. McDonough is a smaller town on the southside of Atlanta, however, it’s home to some of the best food, and more notably, coffee in the state. If you’re looking to support a local community, artisans, and restaurants come on down to the Geranium City.
