Fr. Mike Schmitz

The homily is about the 5-second rule and how it is a myth. Fr. Mike Schmitz explains that bacteria can contaminate food instantly upon contact with a surface, regardless of how quickly you pick it up. He then talks about the Baptism of the Lord and how Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist even though he didn’t need to be. Fr. Mike Schmitz explains that this is because when something that is clean comes into contact with something that is unclean, the clean thing becomes unclean. However, when Jesus came into contact with the water, he made the water clean. Fr. Mike Schmitz then talks about how God loves us and wants us. He says that we should not try to prove to God that we are worthy of his love, but instead, we should believe that he loves us just the way we are. Fr. Mike Schmitz concludes by saying that we should live our lives as if we are already loved and claimed by God.

The homily is about the importance of being aware and convinced of God’s love for us. Fr. Mike Schmitz says that until we are aware and convinced of God’s love for us, our lives will be spent trying to prove to God that we are worthy of his love. He says that we need to be aware and convinced that God loves us just the way we are. Fr. Mike Schmitz concludes by saying that we should live our lives as if we are already loved and claimed by God.

In his sermon, Grant Partrick talks about the importance of being a good steward of God’s gifts. He says that we are all given different talents and abilities, and it is our responsibility to use them to glorify God. Partrick also talks about the importance of being a good example to others, and of living a life that is worthy of emulation.

Partrick begins his sermon by talking about the parable of the talents. In this parable, a man gives three servants different amounts of money. The first servant invests his money and doubles it. The second servant buries his money in the ground. The third servant wastes his money. Partrick uses this parable to illustrate the importance of using our talents for good.

Partrick then talks about the importance of being a good example to others. He says that we should live our lives in a way that shows others what it means to be a follower of Christ. Partrick also talks about the importance of being a good listener. He says that we should always be willing to hear what others have to say, even if we don’t agree with them.

Partrick concludes his sermon by saying that we should all strive to be good stewards of God’s gifts. He says that we should use our talents to glorify God and that we should live our lives in a way that is worthy of emulation.
