Neighborhood Groups

What Are Neighborhood Groups?

Neighborhood Groups are small group Bible studies that meet weekly across the city in people’s homes. They offer an informal setting to establish relationships with folks at Trinity and dive deeper into the scriptures taught on Sunday mornings. These groups discuss questions raised by Trinity sermons and encourage each other in living as Christ-followers every day.

Why Should I Consider Neighborhood Groups?

Trinity is a big church. In big churches, it can be difficult to connect and feel like people know your name and your story when you walk into the building on Sundays. Neighborhood Groups help make the church smaller by providing a comfortable space to connect and build lasting relationships with a consistent group of roughly 8-15 others who live near you or are in a similar life stage.

Who Are Neighborhood Groups for?

Neighborhood Groups are for adults in any stage of life. Most groups are designed for a general audience, whereas some serve a specific audience (20s and 30s, parents, young married, or artists, for example). For families with children, some neighborhood groups offer childcare.

Where Do Neighborhood Groups Meet?

Neighborhood Groups meet throughout the city and welcome folks from any of Trinity’s parishes. For a map of current groups, visit the Neighborhood Groups page online.

When Do Neighborhood Groups Meet?

Most groups meet weekly on weeknight evenings, and the majority of groups take the first week of the month off to allow participants to attend the Trinity-wide Worship and Prayer service on the Westside the first Wednesday of the month. The discussion usually centers around the scriptures and sermons from Sunday mornings at Trinity, so it can be helpful to listen to the sermon or attend Sunday services too.

How Do I Start?
