Premarital Mentoring

What Is Premarital Mentoring?

For couples who are engaged to be married, Trinity offers premarital mentoring. This mentoring pairs an engaged couple with a married couple in the church to meet with over a few months before and after getting married. The process includes four meetings before getting married and one meeting six months after the wedding. Weddings can be performed at Trinity, and Trinity pastors can officiate weddings at Trinity or other locations, as scheduling allows.

Why Should I Consider Premarital Mentoring?

The purpose of the premarital mentoring program at Trinity is twofold: first, it encourages engaged couples at Trinity to develop friendships with married couples in the church. Second, it provides a safe environment to reflect on how the engaged couple’s own lives and families will shape the way they enter marriage as Christians, consider what they want to value and prioritize in their married life and learn from a couple who has been through this season before.

Who Does Premarital Mentoring and Weddings?

Premarital mentoring is offered to engaged couples in the church and is led by married couples in the church. Pastors at Trinity officiate weddings, when possible, at Trinity and other church locations.

When Is Premarital Mentoring at Trinity?

Premarital mentoring is offered year-round, and weddings are officiated by or hosted at Trinity as available (not on Sundays).
