February 24, 2023, marked the 1-year anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine. What you might not know is that this war has a 1000-year buildup and has its roots in Christianity. Religion plays a major role in the motivation behind it. It’s important to understand the role of faith in culture and politics because it can have real-life ramifications as the world is seeing unfold in the crisis today.
