Door Holders

What Are Door Holders?

Door Holders encompasses all the volunteers on Sundays, from greeters and parking attendants to children’s church leaders, medical personnel, worship, and A/V production, and college student ministry volunteers at Passion City Church.

Why Be a Door Holder?

At Passion, instead of using the term “volunteers” for those who help serve in different capacities at the church, these folks are called Door Holders, a term which embodies the idea that everyone inside the ‘House’ (the church) at Passion has a part to play in holding the door open for others and making them feel at home.

Who Can Be a Door Holder?

Everyone at Passion is encouraged to use their gifts and talents to volunteer as a Door Holder. Some roles may require experience (eg, A/V production), but there is a place for all who are interested to find a part to play as a Door Holder.

Where Do Door Holders Volunteer?

Door Holders can volunteer at either/both Passion City Church locations.

When Do I Volunteer as a Door Holder?

Most responsibilities are on Sundays, though others may come up throughout the week for special events or gatherings.
