Community Events

What Are Community Events?

Each of Trinity’s three parishes regularly hosts informal gatherings at the church or other local community spaces as a way to foster relationships and connections among the church body. On the Westside, community events include Second Sunday dinners in the church’s Backyard space ($5, all are welcome!) and Friday night Team Trivia in the spring and summer months. The Northside parish holds a monthly Buford Highway dinner at different restaurants near the church, as well as a monthly potluck dinner.

Why Should I Consider Attending Community Events?

These gatherings are a great opportunity to get to know others at your parish in a fun, relaxed setting.

Who Are Community Events For?

Community Events are open to everyone in the church. Families are welcome; bring your friends!

Where Are the Events?

Events are held at the church parishes or in local venues (restaurants, breweries, or parks).

When Are the Events?

Many gatherings take place after church services on Sundays or Friday evenings. Check the events page for details on upcoming dates and times.

How Do I Get Started?

Most events don’t require registration – just come as you are, when you can. Details can be found in the News and Events flyer on Sundays, and the events page.

Still Have Questions?

Others probably do too! Ask your question below in the comments section and one of our writers, editors, community members, church leaders, etc. will reply back. That way, you get a direct response and everyone else who is curious about the same thing will be able to keep up with and participate in the discussion – don’t be shy!
